About standard number plates
Standard 2D plates are the cleanest, most traditional option. The characters are printed flat, so the plate looks exactly like the one your car left the factory with – sharp, legible and easy to keep clean.
Because there is nothing raised on the surface, standard plates suit every vehicle and every fitting method, from sticky pads to screw fixings.

Are standard number plates road legal?
Standard printed plates can be road legal when they use the prescribed font and spacing, meet the British Standard and are supplied after your entitlement and ID have been checked. The builder labels your design clearly before you order.
Will printed characters fade?
The characters are printed beneath the acrylic face rather than on the surface, which protects them from washing and weather.
Can I order just a rear plate?
Yes. In the builder choose “Rear only” or “Front only” and the price updates straight away.
