About 3d gel number plates
On a 3D gel plate each character is coated with a clear, domed resin. The curved surface picks up reflections and highlights, giving a raised look that stands out from a standard print without changing the plate’s overall shape.
Gel characters have softly rounded edges, so they look premium up close while staying smooth enough to wash and polish as normal.

What is a 3D gel number plate?
It is a plate whose characters are topped with a clear, domed resin. The resin creates a raised, glossy look while the characters themselves remain black.
Are 3D gel plates legal?
Raised characters are permitted when they are a single colour (black) and the plate otherwise meets the display rules and British Standard. Two-tone or coloured effects are not allowed for road use.
How do I clean gel plates?
Wash them as you would the rest of the car. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent-based cleaners on the resin.
